Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode are required for purchases on your smartphone, and your card number and identity aren&#8217;t shared with merchants Additionally, your actual card numbers aren&#8217;t stored on your device or on servers. This authorization checks that your card and account are valid. It won\u2019t be charged to your balance and will go away soon.
